Description

Sudu Gedara Villa in Ambalangoda, built as a private residence, sits among the mangroves, providing guests with the ultimate villa experience on a beach frequented by few visitors and locals. One of our favorite attractions is when the local fishermen come to the beach early in the morning to take their catamarans out to sea. Our staff can source fresh fish from their morning catch upon request, or guests can wander out to look for themselves.

The rooms are simply designed to provide guests with a relaxing and peaceful environment. Every three days, the linen is changed. Pool and bath towels with amenities are also available to guests, as are tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. Guests can dine in the villa's main dining room on the ground floor or on our rooftop. Breakfast on the balcony/patio is recommended for the ultimate morning experience.

Ambalangoda Beach is a private stretch of beach located just past the main town and close to a variety of activities such as water skiing, turtle hatcheries, temples, shopping, markets, and the famed mask museum.
