I cannot rate this hotel highly enough! The boutique nature with unspoilt views makes for a perfect break. The staff were incredible and couldn’t do enough to make our stay better, they were helpful, attentive and courteous about everything ranging from cleaning the room to dinner service. The food was amazing and the chef deserves special recognition, not only for the incredible tasting food, but such attention to the presentation also! The mojitos were the best I’ve tasted and the pillow / bed was so comfortable. An amazing and refreshing long weekend experiencing the beautiful Sri Lanka, thank you all!
This is truly a small, boutique hotel of amazing architectural design. Tucked slightly down the coast (thankfully!) from Unawatuna. The whole gaff exudes class. The boss man Hasanth runs a beautifully tight ship with exceptional 5 star service running through his brilliant team to a top class chef and wonderful cocktails. The pool is outrageous and the beach with turtles (keep your eyes peeled), stilt fishermen at the end of garden and tranquility all right there. The adult kids loved the games room and the tuk tuk drivers at the end of the drive were all perfect. Thank you.
My husband and I stayed at Sielan Diva for 4 nights in December and we had the best stay out of the 2.5 weeks we were in Sri Lanka. I was remote working and the Wifi was perfect. The views from the rooms looking out the waves and beach were amazing. These views made the delicious breakfast even more enjoyable. Our stay was topped off by great service from Hasantha and his team. I would HIGHLY recommend staying at Sielen Diva.
The perfect place to stay in the Talpe area, especially if you are a couple. Service, food, amenities will make your holiday exceptional. Great location with amazing views and not crowded beach on the first line, where you can see both sunrise and sunset.
We stayed at Modern Villa for a couple of nights on our honeymoon and loved it. The location is fantastic - right on the beachfront and close to the nearby towns of Unawatuna and Galle. It felt like we had our own private beach, while also having great access to the local sights and amenities.
Our room was huge and had a lovely big bathroom. The large window also provided a fantastic sea view each morning.
We were well looked after during our stay, and the staff were very attentive. Thoughtful touches, like welcome mocktails, ice lollies, and a honeymoon cake made us feel extra special.
I would highly recommend Modern Villa for luxury, comfort and relaxation.
