Ahangama House a Large Colonial Style Villa in Ahangama, Sri Lanka

A stunning colonial-era mansion just 100 meters from some of Sri Lanka's best beaches on the south coast. Ahangama House is accompanied by our wonderful staff who will ensure that everything is taken care of so that you do not have to do anything. Our villa chef will make certain that you never go hungry.

The villa rate includes a daily cooked breakfast. Other menu options include à la carte, three-course dinners, and BBQ nights. You make the decision.

Ahangama House has been lovingly restored with all the modern conveniences you'd expect while maintaining the history and style of traditional Walawwas. The interior furnishings are inspired by the flora and fauna of Sri Lanka, with a modern colonial vibe running throughout.

There are six rooms in total, three of which are deluxe and feature spacious living areas, outdoor showers, walk-in closets, and private outdoor patios. The upper-floor suite includes a private living room as well as an outdoor shower. Ahangama House also has a queen room and a twin room on the ground floor, making it ideal for families and groups. Each room has its own personality, as well as the most comfortable beds.

There is a guest kitchenette with a toaster and coffee/tea making facilities, as well as a water cooler where you can refill our reusable chiller bottles. There's also a decent-sized fridge. We have a pool gate that can be closed to prevent small children from entering the pool area, and the dining room and outdoor patio can both have their garden gates closed to create an enclosed safe area.
