Villa D is a premium boutique villa located amid the serenity and lushness of the woodlands in Unawatuna and Galle in Sri Lanka's southern west district. This 750sqm home mixes colonial architecture design and built among an unrivaled landscape and tea plantation spanning 5,000 sq metres and offers superb panoramic views from its vantage position on a high elevation. It is owned by a French couple who hired Sri Lankan architects Manjula Kalhara de Silva and engineer G. Mahesh Nandana for their architectural abilities. Guests can reserve or rent individual villas within its nourishing and stunning surroundings, each with its own distinctive and tasteful interior design and services.
The D Villa is a full-fledged holiday home for the delight of extended family members, relatives, and friends, with 5 beautiful bedrooms for a maximum of 18 people. All rooms may be rented individually and are exceedingly private and opulent, and guests can also lease the entire property. The first room, Infinity, measures 42 square meters and has a 4-poster bed that can sleep two people and two children, as does the second room, Bawa, which is inspired by architect Geoffrey Bawa and is placed in a similar space size. The Garden room, located at the back of the house, also beds two adults and two children and is surrounded by lush flora.
The Lanka room is inspired by Sri Lanka, featuring carefully chosen furniture from local antique sellers and a king-sized bed. Finally, the smallest room, Cosy, has 25 square meters of area and can only sleep two adults, with its own little terrace.
