Villa White Beach is a stunning white villa located directly on the beach on Sri Lanka's beautiful southern coast. The mansion, designed by famous architect Bruce Fell-Smith, is one of Sri Lanka's first luxury villas, erected in the 1990s. Villa White Beach now provides an outstanding blend of streamlined modern style and gorgeous coastal vistas, all topped off with exceptional five-star service. The villa's costs include unlimited movie and music downloads and streaming, as well as children's activities and walking tours. The only problem will be deciding between a swim in the pool and a swim in the Indian Ocean right outside your door.
Villa White Beach is relaxed, comfortable, and personalized. The property is family-owned and named after the Persian word meaning love. ISHQ, a five-bedroom luxury house located along Galle's 'French Riviera,' was built in the 1990s as part of the original fabric of the island's first luxury homes designed by famous architect Bruce Fell-Smith. Today, the villa combines the luxuries of a boutique hotel with the solitude and exclusivity of a private villa, combining minimalist decor with marine blues.
The home, which is palm-fringed on both sides and overlooks a blue Indian Ocean beach, combines a love for spacious spaces and soft and stylish decor with all the comforts of a boutique hotel and the solitude and exclusivity of a private villa.
Villa White Beach, which derives its name from the Persian word for love, is at once relaxed and homey while also providing personalized services and attention to the finer elements of luxury vacationing. What's not to like about that?
A once in a lifetime week! Manjula is a super host – he’s lovely, interesting, and helped us with every random query about Sri Lanka (and food). We had 7 nights, and the pool, the beach, the rooms, the hammock with crashing waves – everything was perfect. The team was so lovely and always had big smiles and very attentive (but they left us alone when they saw that we were happy to make our own coffee) We asked for Sri Lankan meals and breakfast, and it was unbelievably delicious, and they obviously had such joy in feeding us, the love came through what we ate. The two chefs also gave us a cooking lesson (after a trip to the Wednesday market with Manjula to pick up vegetables, especially ones we’d never tried) and we had such an appreciation for what they were making. I have a cumin allergy, which they had no problem catering for because everything was made fresh. We surprised ourselves by eating mostly vegetarian – there was always chicken or fish on the table, but the veg dishes were so interesting and tasty that we focused on them. Amazing, amazing, unforgettable week. Thank you Manjula and team.
What an unforgettable week spent in the company of Manjula, our generous host, and his dedicated team. A villa that oozes charm from its spacious living area, fabulous suites to the breathtaking seascape and plentiful lounging areas around the pool.
Picking up immediately on our love of food, we were treated to a constant bowlful of surprises! A visit to the market and a cookery class with Manjula and two fabulous chefs allowed us to learn the basics, understand how and what to serve during a Sri Lankan feast. The conversations with Manjula and chef about food and ingredients is a memory that will stick with me forever.
The team looked after us being there as and when which left us time to do what we wanted when we wanted. Manjula also organized a trip to a tea plantation and nearby Galle. The elephant safari was accompanied by a picnic prepared for by the villa us to enjoy after an early start.
The location allows access to short excursions up and down the coast and can be done in a tuk-tuk, train or with a guide. We were here for one week and we managed to visit outside, but equally to take advantage of the pool and beach walks.
