Located just 15 minutes from the entrance of Yala National Park, Cozy Villas Yala is a private retreat built for families and groups who want the thrill of the jungle alongside the comforts of home. Designed by acclaimed Sri Lankan architect Channa Daswatte, the property uses a simple, open-plan layout to seamlessly blend indoor comfort with the surrounding natural environment.

The villa comfortably hosts up to 12 guests, making it an ideal base for group safaris or multi-generational family trips. It features three spacious, air-conditioned ensuite bedrooms, each furnished with a king-size bed and additional sofa beds for flexible sleeping arrangements.

For guests who want a more immersive outdoor experience, the grounds also feature a thoughtfully designed luxury tent. Ideal for two to three guests, the tent offers a unique glamping experience complete with modern amenities and its own private attached washroom.

Inside the main house, cooling polished cement floors and sea-green accents set a calming tone, highlighted by striking wildlife photography captured by the owner. Two long verandahs open directly onto the central garden and private swimming pool, giving you the perfect spot to cool off with a drink after a dusty morning game drive.

Because Yala is gloriously remote, we bring the dining experience to you. Our dedicated in-house chef and staff are on hand 24/7 to prepare home-cooked Sri Lankan cuisine, poolside snacks, or evening BBQs. The living area overlooks the pool and features a 12-seater dining table where your group can gather to share stories from the day's safari.
